He was overtly Christian which would actually offend many who celebrate his message. We need to hear all of what he had to say rather than just partial quips.
Being a Christian isn’t offensive, and I wouldn’t think his being one was, either. He knew the difference between being Christian and trying to force it on everyone else. Wish people today would learn the distinction, too.

too bad after MLK’s death he was attacked by the more militant community as too “Uncle Tom”. He was anything but.
