Today’s new strip is the old familiar setup- Luann and Bernice in the room- but there are more differences than their age. Luann no longer flops around on the bed the way she did. And, like so many Sunday strips (including the two I draw,) the traditional multi panel grid, with locked in key panels for different newspaper formatting, has been set aside. I haven’t drawn strip to fit this pattern since THE RUGRATS, and there have been no new ones since 2003.

Bernice is right though. The best conversationalists are those who listen more than they speak, and when they do speak, they ask questions.
