Only 10 to 1 odds? I saw both the 1926 and 1939 versions of Beau Geste and it seemed the “desert rats” had an army against the fort and still lost. Has anybody ever seen the 1966 version?
Did a google. Found this in Wikipedia (so it MUST be true, right?)-The war concluded in 1962, when Algeria gained complete independence following the March 1962 Evian agreements and the July 1962 self-determination referendum.

Flare’s dying. Legionnaires might be doing the same if somebody doesn’t pull the trigger.-Interesting that The Fox plays cat and mouse.

So are they in Algeria? Tarzan really drifted west somehow. Cherman General Erwin Rommel was the real Desert Fox, but he lost in the end too.

@roaringrockets: Tarzan is like Chuck Norris in a way.. Even the laws of time & space bow before the king of the jungle. Especially in Africa.
