You can’t beat a coal fire. Until you have to clear it out. Mine is a reasonably realistic electric. Looks quite good.
Why doesn’t he just buy Fred his own chair?
Instead of a chair buy one of those dog beds like Fred has in the kitchen, or where ever it is. Could move his bed to the living room next to the fire place.
Don’t budge Fred – you have rights too.
I prefer a Jøtul. It is fun to watch a spark from bois d’arc sailing out the air intake, only to be sucked back in before it can change altitude.
