My cat loved to sleep on the top of our front-loading washing machine. I think he enjoyed the belly massage when it was running. Another of our cats liked to sleep draped over the trestle (the thing that connects the legs on a trestle table) under our dining room table. Of course, on a chilly day there would be a pile of cats on the seat of the chair in the sun.
My Molly slept at the top of my head last night in bed. Not on it but right next to it. She always comes and sits with me. She’s such a lover. And her owners were the Rat BasTa—- who called ROFF and said “come get her or we’re going to put her outside to fend for herself”. In JANUARY, with 6 inches of snow, and she was pregnant.. They were tired of a cat and wanted to get a dog instead. I hope they never got the dog. Anyway, we met Molly and brought her home. Saw a picture of her kitties on the ROFF website, 3 little kittens sitting in a basket, all 3 were coal black, just like her. Wish I had seen them sooner, would have loved one of them too.

I have a cat who is just like that – not to me, but to my room-mate!

When a cat sleeps next to you, or on top of you, it’s paying you a compliment.

My blind kitty claws his way up the side of the bed to sleep on my head. Big old siamese mix, love him so much!

Cats sleep with us because a sleeping human puts out about 100 watts of heat. We let them sleep with us because a cat emits about 10 watts.

It looks like they’re all snoring….except for Annie.
