If Mr. Galvin was really born during the Holocene Epoch, that would make him roughly 12,000 years old.
Either way, its time for him to retire.

Holocene Epoch supposedly covers the time period from 10,000 B.C. to now. So he could be anything from 1 to 12,000 years old. Quite a range to pick from.
