So Fungo’s 6x great-grandfather knew Winston Churchill? How long do ferrets live, anyway? Churchill died in 1965…so, the gift of the pen would have to have been at least 46 years prior.[this strip has a 2011 copyright date]

@TSAlleycat according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferret ferrets have a lifespan of 7 – 10 years, so unless you consider the improbability of Churchill presenting a pen to a ferret it all makes perfect sense

back in the early ’70’s the oakland city zoo used this classic song as the music bed for their tv commercials. saw them a lot while watching charley and humphrey….
