I don’t understand it. I think these are sent in a week at a time, so why this is never updated until later has me puzzled. I usually read it a day late if I remember to click on the “last” one.
to wwcameralab: I was wondering if I was the only one who thought Horace looked shorter or heavier or somehow different. When I saw that it was dated 2009 I knew why. I like his new svelte look.
Comics show up at about 12:10 PM in Central (Chicago) time zone. Too late for me to comment. However it is only 10 on the West coast… so the early comments come from there. Hence, I like it when DSTH shows up “late” because it is just about the only time we midwesterners can be first to make a comment……. of course that’s when one could have a brain freeze….. ! ! ! That’s my short story…..
What I don’t like about DSOTH showing up late is this: I usually save some comics (especially ones I’ve commented in) in tabs to follow later. But if I have to reset my computer, or refresh the page (sometimes necessary to make a post, what’s up with that?), the pages will then re-open to the wrong comics.

Congrats, Horace. You’re the first to EVER shorten the story that way.

Horace sure has grown and slimmed down some in four years.

Version 1: “To make a long story short — The End.”Version 2: “To make a long story short, shut up.”:Take your pick.

This particular strip is included in Samson’s DSOTH collection, Year of The Horse. Buy it! It’s fantastic!

I never have a problem with updates here, maybe once or twice, a long while back. Could be where I am located, or what time I get to it.
