Hang in there Charlie Brown, You’ve got a chance to win. Oh the pressure. Come on Mr Schulz, Give Charllie something to remember when he grows old.
Every decision is hard in the last half of ninth inning, Charlie Brown. Especially for you.
No Linus Don’t leave!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!
Linus, you could have picked a better time to drop that bomb. Was there anything wrong with before or after the game?
gee Jeff, do I detect a note of bitterness :(
Not necessarily. Baseball is always played for at least nine innings, regardless of who’s actually winning. It could be a complete blowout for the other team (say, 123-0), and they’d still have to play to the end of the ninth inning.
This is so cute… Poor Charlie Brown is going to feel lonesome once again.
Unless he hangs around with Schroeder and tries to get Charlie Brown into Beethoven’s music.

In other words, Linus, now’s not the time for this discussion.
