In spite of waffles with whipped cream and strawberries?

We’d better brace ourselves for Alice Otterloop’s tantrum.

Nothing makes a bad day worse like a good day…

It’s a force of nature, like a volcanic eruption: nothing can stop it—not even waffles with whipped cream and strawberries! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!

I easily relate to her increased anger:She woke up in a bad mood and hoped to spend the day expressing it. Then Mom has to come along with pancakes and ruin her bad mood.Doesn’t everyone hate that?

The poor thing. The day’s going to get progressively worse if she doesn’t find a trigger for the tantrum. And I’m pretty sure she won’t.

Ugh, nothing so bad as a bad mood ruined by good things happening.

This storyline looks familiar….. Is this a repeat.

This entire strip is being repeated. For our pleasure!

I know a lot of people who are at their happiest when they’re unhappy.

aint nothin like the tantrum my 24 year old daughter threw yesterday (on Mother’s Day) because I asked her to put away the dishes in the dishwasher. All I could do was laugh at her and tell her I wouldn’t “nag” if she just got to it the first time I asked her. oh yeah, who needs to watch soap operas on tv – my life is FULL of drama.

Maybe Alice doesn’t like strawberries or waffles….or whipped cream…..or all three.

O" Brother…watch out, feather are gonna fly.

Don’t you hate it when you are determined to have a bad day and someone ruins by doing something nice?

How DARE Mom try to spoil Alice’s bad mood?

Surprisingly this is exactly how some people think. I cannot fathom this irrational thought process.

Isn’t Alice a little young for mood swings?
