I once knew a divorced couple who had a a couple of kids.The boy was somewhat older than the girl, so he had had more time with his Dad. The girl was reared mostly by Mom, so had Mom’s attitude towards Dad. When the boy displeased Mom, she would scream, “You are just like your Dad.” It confused the kid to no end. He loved his Dad and was proud to be like him.
