Hey, to each his/her own…Jane is cute, if you’re into androgynousand a lot of people are.

I’m glad not everyone is cos no one would ever take me for male…but I’m also glad there are people out there for just about every type…

If there weren’t, we’d all have to look one certain way or be forever lonely.

A gay friend of mine once spent all night “chatting up” what he thought was a guy only to be told, “By the way, you do realise I’m a girl?”

And Night-Gaunt… my father used to harass my brother about his long hair…and me about liking long-haired guys.

In those days it was long hair that supposedly made men look female, especially as most of my boyfriends, dates, etc at the time were also pretty slender or slight.I don’t really have “rules”…especially at my present age (I’m at least a fair bit older than you.)….when most of us are not what we used to be.

But back then I was always more into… let’s say, poetic looking than athletic looking …. LOL

Anyway… I told him then, and I still say now…if I’m getting close enough to need to know…I’ll find out!Till then, who cares.So it’s OK.

I recently wrote a story where a slender woman with short hair took out 3 bank-robbers in the old west. Later, at a saloon, the leader of the gang was chewing out the survivor (who ran away) for letting a “boy” take out his men. When they found out it was actually a WOMAN, he really tore into the guy, saying, “You dun lost th’ right t’ even call yerself a MAN!!!” (I based the woman on Ellen Foley. I loved her on NIGHT COURT!)
