I really don’t care what the song says or what the rationalization is. The confederate flag continues to represent the confederacy and what it stood for. If it didn’t, it would be pointless to wear it/wave it/hang it. Don’t wear it and then say, hey man, I didn’t know it would offend you. If you didn’t, you must have been in a bomb shelter for the past 60 years.

Displaying the confederate flag is a slap in the face to all African-Americans, just as nasty as displaying the Nazi flag is to Jews.
