Mom: Alice! You're home already! How was Dill's party? Alice: Awful. Nobody else was there, the games were boring, his mom made his birthday cake a carrot cake. Ick. And look what's in the goodie bag - a little package of soy sauce, some frilly toothpicks and a teenie-weenie bottle of shampoo. Mom: What are those things all over you? Alice: Dill and I got into a sticker fight and I won! That part was great!

My goodie bag standards: 5 Kit Kats, 7milk chocolate hersheys bars, and a little plastic toy.

I guess that I’m too old! I never knew about giving goodie bags. No one did when I was a kid and I doubt that my wife did for our kids. On Jan 11 I turn 75.
