Mrs Stusse wanted to take advantage of a coupon David had run in the Bugle ….
THREE dogs walked twice a week in April for the price of two.
She’s always wanted to try the service for Spanky and Butch….why not let Walter get a little air as well?
He seems to be enjoying it….And she’s certainly enjoying her tea and crossword puzzle …without all three of them constantly begging her to throw a tennis ball.
Poopsie Stusse just felt like veggin’ out today, watchin’ the soaps. Not one to waste money, Mrs. Stusse “volunteered” Mr. Stusse to take Poopsie’s place in the pack.
Brothers, Spanky and Butch, attended the daily outing as usual.
“Get along little “doggies” get along."You know he is practicing for the annual Ballard Street Chariot races. Thinks he is Ben Hur or Charlton Heston.Mr. Stusse just got run over much the same as Ben Hur’s Roman friend. Better results however. At least he is the LEAD dog.
I just love walking my dogs. Watching them interact with the world is really fascinating. The looks, the sniffing about, the sounds they hear that attract their attentions.Mine will track squirrels to no ends. She gets the scent and on she goes straight to the tree. Then hard stares the branches. What is funny is the squirrel is about 4 feet behind her sitting on the ground eating the nut in its paws. Just watching. Always watching. (and planning)
Just …. if you think it might happen…Please don’t walk him between now and changeover, OK? cos I have to leave for a while.
See you later.
I’ve noticed that traffic has been very light on Ballard Street for a day or two….wonder if there’s something happening out of town that’s drawing away the crowds…
or, sort of conversely, something on TV everybody’s staying home for.
Susan , I’m confused….are you talking about gluing Bev’s arm back into the socket???? Ewwww! Please tell me I misunderstood! I would suggest checking with the Ballard Orthopedic Clinic and Dry Cleaners first, before taking more drastic measures!
One more thing, SUSAN, not to endorse any product or anything like that, LOL, but Gorilla Glue IS GREAT! Used it to fix my ceramic birdbath that cracked in an unexpected freeze in late April a couple years ago. And I mean, that sucker was CRACKED! Good as new now.
Prince Mua is dropping by to say hello. He’s never been to the Tiki, but He says he won’t go unless the Sheriff Monkey approves. He’s sensitive about not being welcome. I explained that Munkey is very understanding about Princes as long as they are quiet and don’t upset the patrons.Mua just wants to gnaw, er enjoy a Yak rib and then have a catnip night cap and a little nap afterwards.
Since I can’t stay up for the turnaround, can I leave it with you Munkey? If he is allowed to visit, he can wait until I can join him if I can get here early enough.Er, may I give you some banana bread before I go? Freshly baked.

Oh Bev!
Of course I will help with a petition!
I just need to know where to send it.Anybody?I’m sure some body will be willing to tell me what to do with it.
Hey! I heard that!That wasn’t very helpful…or…. nice…
And I didn’t know your dog was so strong!
I hope he doesn’t really pull that hard…but I’m standing by, just in case…
If this stuff works on gorillas, with all their arm strength, I’m sure it will work on mere humans….

Oh… and Stel…. and Bev…
Thanks, but…I don’t think I’ll need a lawyer…I won’t do it, now that everybody has warned me.
I just didn’t know…. I mean…. who would expect it…..Cos every day at the supermarket it sure seems like that’s just the way they all do it.

Oh Stel…of course….maybe do-it-yourself wouldn’t be the way to go.
I just thought…. well..if gorillas can do it….
But you know what?
I looked at that bottle very carefully after I got it home…and it doesn’t even mention gluing gorillas!
They sell it under false pretenses!
Maybe I can take it back….
