He’s more girly than his sister, who’s really quite a boy.

Petey’s Mom [Yelling]: “GET OUT OF THAT ROOM AND PLAY IN THE WET GRASS WITH YOUR SISTER THIS INSTANT!!”

I love the look of disgust in Petey’s face and Alice’s joy in the last panel! LOL!

this is my son and a neighbors daughter, only in reverse until she actually tried it, then they couldn’t keep her out of the wet grass and mud

True bro/sis dynamic! Wonderful!! Made me truly LOL. :)

Nothing you can do. My daughter, from the earliest age, wouldn’t even SIT on DRY grass unless she put something under her first, like cardboard. Very dainty from the start. My son was born when she was seven, and was the complete opposite - one of those kids you push out the door all cleaned up and he’s back 5 minutes later covered in dirt, with a hole torn in the knee of his pants and a scrape or bruise or two. Same family, same parents, but completely different people out of the gate. (Their mother wasn’t a “dainty” example for our daughter - she rode horses, went fishing, and even sat on grass)
