We were so thrilled to have so many of you comment on Sunny Street last week that we have decided to add a “Comment Contest” this week. Real dog owners understand their dogs.

And yet somehow dogs have mouths that are much cleaner than a human’s. I have yet to find evidence to the contrary other than today’s strip.

I’m guessing Rusty’s owner has something stuck between his teeth.

One thing for sure I’m always on the look out for. I live in Florida and we have these things called Bufo Toads which are toxic to dogs. My doberman Ruckus has a tendency to hunt things down so I never let him out of my sight.

That’s doggone funny! Now I have to go put Listerine in my dogs water bowls.

Several references I was not familiar with here, IAH, but I looked them up and your comment is now very interesting. Do you raise the pups yourself? Seems like you may be at the kennel checking out a future hunting companion. Is Hector the 100th the actual name of a pup? If it is, I would love to hear how you came up with the name. Reminds me of the old Signal mouthwash commercial, “I just licked my privates, drank from the toilet, and ate garbage. Kiss me.” the woman replies, “Ewwww no!”, the guy says, “C’mon, kiss me, I got the signal” and thats suppose to make it all better.

I am preparing to send flowers tomorrow, NG49. Based on where Rusty has been all day, survival does not look good for his master.
