Afternoon thunderstorm? When I used to live in Colorado Springs, during the summer around 3 o’clock in the afternoon we’d get our scheduled 20 minute thunderstorm.

I wonder if that’s what’s going to happen to the kids.

An ominous rumble, coming their way….

‘Then came that rumble way down in the ground”. That’s “earthquake weather” she is describing.

I’m betting it’s a buffalo stampede.

Somebody sure is hungry.

Or about to pass wind.

It’s a new manifestation of the Uh-Oh Baby!

Uh-Oh Baby or Dill’s Brothers or just Dill on his own???

Tomorrow is gonna be a long way off. Since when has Cul De Sac been more suspenseful than Stephen King?

Dill and his kiddie car?? Oh the mystery!!

The ice cream truck is driving on a flat tire.

Maybe Dill’s been on the new Refried Beans & Prune Juice diet….

it’s not thunder folks, i haven’t had breakfast today, it is only my tummy sorry

That is the dreaded sound of a long dormant door opening. Could it be - A CLASSROOM DOOR?!?! Is it, can it be - THE END OF SUMMER?!?! Stay tuned!

I bet it’s the school bus.

@John Reiher, Jr: There was one summer when I was growing up where we could count on rain every Wednesday. Not as organized as your summers.

Maybe Doris has gotten loose from “Annie”.

Petey has now been snubbing all food for a week in an attempt to move back into the Top 10 on the “World’s Pickiest Eater” rankings. That was his stomach rumbling.

Fortunately, they’re geared up to ride hard and ride fast. If the rumble proves to be imminent danger, they can race away on their steeds.

Has the Uh-Oh Baby figured out how to control the weather? Has it gotten ahold of a noisy kiddie car? Ummm………has it found a Sounds of Nature CD?
