Ah, I see, a zombie came along, thought Travis would make a nice snack (and only a zombie concerned about preservatives in his food wouldn’t), and somehow Travis turned the tables on it.
WOW! Spicing up the comic with some new, different (funny) drama. Awesome. I also wonder how long it will last. Travis could still live with them in the house but it would be a whole new dynamic.
OK so couldn’t Travis get a syringe and main line formaldehyde to keep the zombie body from further decom?Or will the body affect Travis and he turns into a zombie too?Who took Travis out of the jar, the zombie so he would “look” better with Travis’ head on him. Or, did Travis tip his own jar over and bounce on top of the Zombie knocking the Zombie’s head off so Travis could take over the body? Had Travis planned this all along? Or is Leopold the reason this transformation as occurred? So many question that “inquiring minds want to know”!
I see how this could happen. The zombie found Travis, tried to take a bite, but miscalculated and knocked its head off, and Travis landed on its neck. Simple.
No, I think it is a zombie. Which does bring up the question, who did the transplanting? Coyoty’s explanation just doesn’t seem practical.Given the regular level of reality and continuity in this strip, I am convinced that there will be a logical and scientifically accurate answer.Or it was done with some sort of “Head-swapping” energy beam. That works for me.

WOW! Travis got himself a body, somehow! How long can it last? Quick, Beatrice; take him out for a walk—his first real “walk” in a long time!

Beatrice could put the zombie head in the jar and see if Leopold would notice the difference.

Okay……how did he do that without any hands? Can’t wait to find out.

Hmm, didn’t Travis once say he would be a homicidal maniac if he could walk or something along those lines?

did Travis kill the ugly zombie and was then able to attach his own head?Did the monster just trade heads for a better looking one?

I’m kinda liking this turn of events. Of course, Travis has always been my favorite (say something about me…) I really hope it turns out well!
