It seems that Alice may be changing her mind about being a picky eater…

Next thing you know, she’ll be … shudder … letting her mashed potatoes TOUCH HER BROCCOLI! Oh, the humanity!

Alice has just exhibited the “helpless” sibling look for Petey–what next?

“food groups are like gangs – they all hate each other” – that would explain a lot of things – like gas, indigestion and so forth. Alice, run while you can still get away from the “Pickey Eaters of the World Club” ….

I thought the first rule of picky eating is that you don’t talk about picky eating.

Pickiness isn’t something you choose, it’s part of your core self. The Truly Picky WOULD starve, if the only foods available were simply unacceptable.

Hence, I fear Petey’s attempts to recruit/tutor Alice will come to naught. She’ll never capable of more than dabbling.

I disagree. All the fussy eaters I know have picky parents who showed them the way.

Don’t forget the 759,973 minor rules for pickiness.
