Like Jock, Fred is getting old. I am concerned that this strip will be like “For Better Or For Worse” and the dog will die to be replaced by an identical dog with a different name. Probably living with young people in an apartment in London. I don’t think they should do that. I am concerned about Fred acting old at the hands of these “new” writers.
Three, actually: dead stop.[]Back during the fall of 1989 I was neighbor to a family that had a basset hound. One of her favorite things to do was just walk out into the middle of the road (we lived in a residential area on a military base, so traffic was minimal) and sun herself.
< -———-My doggie Cleopatra didn’t like yesterday..Temp got up to 90 degrees and she saw a cat crossing the back lawn..I heard her go “WOOF” and went out just in time to see her chase the cat..It was so hot…..they were both walking… ;-)

Slow and easy. Best way to enjoy the scenery. Best way to enjoy what life can offer. Better to be the tortoise than the hare.

I always like a good saunter but sometimes a mosey will do.
