I make my meatloaf with ground beef and Jimmy Dean sausage. There are rarely any leftovers.

If you open the refrigerator door and your meatloaf talks to you it’s either time to get it a leash, a license, or both..

I have only eaten American meatloaf once. It was ghastly; overspiced, mushy and I wouldn’t want to try it again. Perhaps I was unlucky and I’m sure lots of you will have your own recipes..Were I to make it, it would be more like an oven baked stuffing mixture, using dried apricots, nuts and very few spices. In fact I might just try that this weekend using home minced silverside or topside (I don’t know if these cuts are available in the US). Please don’t send me your recipes, I like to experiment.
