Yeah, me too ! My condolence and a hug on the loss of Julie. It’s a good thing when you have an ongoing comfortable relation with your professional people. We have to “chalk” Goatkomix up to Chawkee j, even if I might have changed the spelling some. Can’t say as I cotton to being “harvested” but if someone were in need of some ‘juice’ and had to have it right then in an emergency, then I would help out.I have to go run the riding mower before Joe takes it back to “the office”. May your May day be a good one. Saw you at M&J and figured you had been here too.
I really should have acknowledged Chalkie when I was talking about ‘GoatComics’ as I think he’s very cool.
I once came across an old Andy classic where Andy has just donated blood the reciever is hiccuping.
It’s really funny.
Hope your Friday is a pleasant one and I hope you manage to have a nice weekend too.
What did you do today?
P.S. Thank you for the hug and your kind words… I really appreciated it.

I would think with all the drinkers you have over there, one person’s blood is as good as a ‘hic’ to any other one. I will be getting my starter heirloom tomatoes if I ever get out of here. Did my fitness and before that agonized over a water structure that is not consistent; the tomato water section is great, what I have set up for the rest is not. Water comes out just right here and too much over there and not enough or nonexistent in other places. I will try one more thing before abandoning the veggie plan for more tomato cages. P.S. Linguist said, less than a minute agoO.K. Cappers ! It’s Friday night and here I am tucked comfortably in my new casa – a little furnished one bedroom apartment in a new, upscale area of Machala , Equador known as Cuidadela Unioro. I moved into this wonderful, reasonably priced ’ departmendo " on Wednesday after a week of searching places in Ecuador. I am celebrating tonight with a cool rum and coke, and listening to the incomparable Latin jazz of Eddie Palmieri on my favorite Jazz station from Tampa = WUSF, while catching up on the misdoings of Andy and his faithful fans. I have seriously missed you guys !After a 2 hour struggle ( no joke ! ) the technicians were finally able to connect my router so I, at last, have my personal internet connection. Hooray !!!I have been lost without reliable service. The hotels and restaurant wi-fi’s are unreliable at best.Andy wouldn’t like it here very much. Although the Ecuadorans are mad for football, they aren’t big on pubs ! Can’t find a decent pint anywhere. But the local cerveza is pretty good and the food excellent ! Looking forward to talking to all my friends at the turn. Voy a hablar con usted en la mañana

I would say yes to the garden question, but not gardening magazine pretty. I have the ‘toms’ outside and was told to plant them in the evening, which will happen before too long. I have a Purple Cherokee, a red and a yellow cherry tomato plants and some other varieties; ten in all. Haven’t quite worked out the final strategy yet. If I run sprinklers, that uses much water plus making it wet that I will have snails.
The song appears to be a long (9 minute) winded instrumental by Irving Berlin. The second link has lyrics. don’t know if he wrote ‘em.My point being; You must be drying up to a shrivel after giving away all your “juice”.
Some info on the “How Dry I Am song”. The first post explains it pretty well. "’The Near Future’
I’m not sure these are lyrics that Mr. Berlin actually wrote, but cute.
