I know I love him … wish I would have him at my reunions. The big five-oh this year, especially!

Went to my 40th high school reunion last year, was carded at a bar this year. Think I enjoyed my reunion? You bet!

Was to my 40th last year. Missed out since the 25th. Didnot recognize anyone, but they did me. Guess who felt flattered.

My HS 50th was in 2010. This is the first I’ve thought about it. College is next year and about as important.

Many years ago went to my 10th HS reunion.Spent the 1st half of the evening as myself, but after connecting with the few of my HS friends who had attended (hung out mostly with the type that didn’t think reunions were “cool”), changed the name on my nametag to that of one of the friends who didn’t attend, and spent the 2nd half of the evening as him, telling some very strange tales about “me” along the way. It was funny how many people believed I was him, since we didn’t look anything alike.Years later saw episode of “30 Rock” where Jack goes to Liz’s HS reunion and tells everyone that he was BMOC “Larry Braverman.”Have skipped the reunions since; the people I cared about in HS I’m still in touch with, no need to go. That friend never went to any of them, so he wasn’t aware of his creatively curious past.

I don’t see this guy as a suck up, unlike some people. And these people will have NO idea what I’m talking about because the idea is so foreign to them…I see this guy as trying to make people feel good and enjoy themselves. While he might be doing it for tips, making people feel good, is actually a reward in itself.

I think he means their 15th drink.
