There’s a computer inside the fish’s stomach??

Kids these days are so hooked on Facebook and they’re always fishing for compliments.

So true. I believe that’s part of the reason depression has risen so much recently. People on facebook all day long seeing how ‘perfect’ all their friends lives are. As a matter of fact, I feel a little down right now after seeing the great day Girl Worm just had.

Don’t feel too good for the girl worm. The boy worm felt great too until he caught his fish!!!

I will pierce my own scrotum on youtube if you send me one of those Sunny Street prints.

I think Facebook is more of a giant crack rock than a giant hook. Great analogy Max!

I don’t think the strip is a critical metaphor about Facebook or women.

I think the strip is an allegory about the eternal struggle of the worker against a plutocratic society. The hands represent the exploitation of the proletariat by the bourgeoisie, and the worm represents the peasant struggling to free itself from capitalistic oppression.

I don’t know what the fish represents. A fish, maybe?

What an amazing day of fishing. Had a blast. And, I think I just met the fish of my dreams. Soon, we will be one.

I have not been fishing a lot, Night-Gaunt49 but my guess is they only see them when humans go fishing. You are right in that, earth worms drown and would not be in the normal habitat for a fish.

Our good friend, Walt Beringson who draws “Two Bits” would probably know all about that kind of stuff, Night-Gaunt.
