Just above a local dam, they found a 12" orange carp a number of years ago. Once they did a DNA test on it, they realized it was a goldfish that someone had dumped into the reservoir behind the dam. With that large a bowl in which to swim, it grew to the limits of its environment.

A friend built a big fish pond and spent big bucks on full grown koi to go in it. Racoons cleaned it out in one night.
