I agree, Jo. : ) A bull dog matches Sam, and it’s what we would expect. There’s also the possibility of something unexpected, like some smooshed-nose little fur ball. But I’m picturing Sgt. Snorkel and Otto. Can’t wait to see!
Reminds me of the story of a woman who took in a stray dog and bought it a leash,collar, food bowl, etc. Then when she took the odd looking mutt to the vet for shots she was informed that the “dog” was actually a sewer rat and had to be euthanized. (I believe ti’s an urban legend).
Hubby and I were traveling through Baltimore when we saw a large black cat sitting quietly on a corner. It did not seem to have a collar. However, circling back to pick it up . . . yup, it was a huge rat. EWwwwwwww!
