So gang, with help from Uncle Wiseguy in the alterNate universe, our favorite little mischief maker finally got a girlfriend! Maureen is a wonderful girl Nate. Best wishes from one Wiseguy to another!!

No “lay” is correct it is the past tense. He wanted to go back to sleep but he couldn’t, so he lay in bed. The sentence is in past tense

Hehe… I used to do that when I was a little kid… :P (I don’t do it any more, of course :P) I feel bad for my family for doing that! Hahaha

be like a lot of kids during summer break. wake up at 6am and start playing video games all morning long.

He’s using present tense. I think. It’s usually used during movies when the characters are telling dramatic stories (flashback!) but Nate must consider this quite tragic.

I feel your pain Nate. I used to hit the snooze button at least 3 times every morning before work. Now that I am retired my eyes pop open at 5 or 6 every morning.

Nate needs to go to summer camp…at least there would be lots to do. He can convince Francis and Teddy to go with him.

I’m having a hard time relating to you people with Nate’s problem. First day of summer vacation, I woke up at about 11:00 instead of 6:45.

SCHOOLS OUT!! For me anyway. Seems like everyone else here had their last day of school last week. That’s probably because most people here are Americans. I’m Canadian.Who in America think that Canada is cold all year long? If u do, guess what? IT WAS 40 DEGREES TODAY! I was boiling!
