If you use the backward arrow which is above the strip twice you will be able to see the strip from two days ago. Neither yesterday’s strip nor today’s appears in full at this time.
There was either a transmission failure to GoComics or an error at GoComics itself.
Sometimes the strip creators monitor their own strips and get things corrected rapidly. Four excellent examples of good monitoring by the creators have happened with Lost Side of Suburbia, and with LuAnn, Non Sequitur, and Frazz, each of which has had the creators jump fast when problems occurred. (In fact, when Kory Merritt of Lost Side of Suburbia had a computer failure there was actually an announcement about it put into the comments section by his brother along with the expected number of days till the replacement would be up and running.) I am sure there have been others I’ve seen that just slip my mind right now. Pearls before Swine has shown good monitoring in other ways.
Hopefully, the strip owner or manager will become aware of this problem (and there may be a way to alert the owner so that should be sought if the problem continues). Keep trying the backward arrow above the strip to see if yesterday’s strip or today’s strip wind up resubmitted in full form.
Okay, I notice on your right side of the page that there are Twitter and Facebook Emmy Lou connections. I eschew both, but if any of you are on Twitter or Facebook, or both you can try that to hopefully alert the strip owner and manager of this problem.
It’s getting worse…I agree. I’ve emailed GoComics twice. Unfortunately the weekend. This was a great cartoon too. I’m peeved. Sorry!! I’ll email them again.
I just emailed go comics, again, to find out what this is all about. Has anyone observed this gray matter on other cartoons here? Frustrating on the weekend with no one around to holler at! Sorry about that.
It seems to be working OK now. And count me as another one who gets sick of everything being blamed on the Obama administration. I didn’t like Bush, but didn’t think everything was his fault.
I see the flood has gone. Possibly Sparky should also be gone. A boy who has already forgotten that he is going steady would forget that he was going steady when he saw another girl.

Oh, boy. Sparky appears to be working undercover…under cover of darkness, that is.

Maybe the content has been censured by Obama’s administration?

You know, since this is a comic from the 70’s, I wouldn’t be surprised if it really IS being censored.

The strip creator, Marty Links, is, unfortunately, dead. Seems to happen to a lot of 90 year olds, I don’t know why.

Dang is everything that goes wrong the fault of the OBama administration? Sheesh! Mine is greyed out on the bottom half today as well.

Boy, that flood is getting worse. I’ll bet this is the biggest rain storm that Emmy Lou has ever seen. Hope Alvin and Taffy are OK.

While this strip is fine (evidently fixed by the time I dropped in), yesterday’s is, unfortunately, still two-thirds grayed out.
