“In Scandinavia, storks – gentle birds with strong family ties, habitually nested on top of peoples chimneys. So when Scandinavianparents needed to explain to youngsters how babies arrived, the storkwas a handy answer. This traditional tale was spread in the 1800s byHans Christian Anderson, in his fairy tales.”Just thought this was a fun bit of trivia, I wondered about this myth years ago, and had to look it up then in the library, and had to ask one of my favorite teachers at the time for help.
