Being another species, there’s absolutely no reason to think unicorns see the same colors we do. We get by with three colors in our printers plus black, because that’s how many different kinds of color receptors we have. What if there were four instead of three?

I was under the impression that flurple was the unicorn word for Octarine, the colour of magic. (Officially described as a dull purple-greenish colour.)

i read in an old websters dictionary (like several decades old) that infrared and ultrared are synonyms.

(basically it is low frequency light which is correlated with heat)

anyway, maybe her face turned ultrared
