I’d like to mention I had an overnight lay-over in Honolulu when going back home to the mainland in Portland, Oregon. I was supposed to be home the same day, but the plane had mechanical problems. So my fellow passengers and I took a bus to a hotel and re-booked ourselves the next day. This was a solo trip to Hilo on the Big Isle back in 2007.

If it’s taking THIS long to get out there, it’ll be Thanksgiving by the time he finally gets back.

how do you know “no one cares”………and every time I comment on a strip it is because it relates to some crazy happening in my life. We all have things that happen in our lives that can be related to a comic strip sometimes.

Six hour layover in Newark, NJ going to an ex-BF’s wedding. I could have either walked to Massachusetts in that time, or gotten a part-time job at the airport gift shop to pay for my flight.

I agree with the others, Daniel you are rude. If you don’t care what templo SUD has to say, don’t read his comments.

You said: “Do you ALWAYS have to reference almost every strip story to your life?”-———————————Most comic strip writers get their material from things they’ve seen/experienced.The strip’s success is often linked to how well readers can relate to the experinces in the strip. (FBoFW is a great example.)No need to get angry, Daniel. Templo’s just completeing the circle of life, that’s all.

Yeah, what afficionado said….we get to share the little stuff here, Daniel. It’s what life is made of, like comics.

Daniel, you are wrong. Most of us enjoy the personal experiences folks relate here.

Had something similar happen to me the first time I flew. We were on the last leg when we made an unscheduled stop…found out the pilot had said he didn’t think there was anything wrong with the plane, but it just didn’t “feel right”…so he set her down and we waited for another plane.Funny thing…I was in my 40’s before I ever flew…and when I mentioned that to a fellow passenger, she said, “And you’re not drunk?” No…I want to see this!!!

I remember today’s strip back in 1984. I was 13 years old, and I remember my mom say,“Hey, guess what video game Michael is standing next to.” The game was “Space Ace”. The game came from the creators of “Dragon’s Lair”. I used to play both games. This is trip down memory lane.
