I’ve got so many different passwords at home and office I have to keep them all on paper. I wish I could use just one multi-purpose password for all applications. And when I’m prompted to change passwords, it would automatically update the passwords for all applications and sites.
Little tip(s):1. Set up a email folder and email yourself the PW for the sight.
2. If you are using a browser like Mozilla/Firefox, it will ask you if you want it to remember your PW. Say ‘yes’ and it is logged the Tools section under Options.3. Get a note pad and write it down.
I once read a neat trick for passwords. Pick your favorite song (say Row, Row, Row Your Boat), your lucky number (let’s say 99). The base is RRRYB99 then add the name of the site. If you want to do more, change some letters to numbers. So, for gocomics it could be RRRYB99gocomics, RRRYB99GoComics or RRRYB99G0Com1cs. That way, once you remember the base, the rest is easy. Just don’t let anyone know your favorite song or lucky number.

Now that’s dreaming in technicolor.

Who drew Peg’s face? Especially in the third panel.

I keep all of mine in a little notebook. I just don’t understand why I need a password for totally benign sites.

I only use a couple different ones and still have trouble sometimes. I especially hate the ones that force you to add a special character.

They are so troubling that I only use 1. Yes I know that’s bad, but so is my memory.
