So THAT’S why they are so noisy! Well, now I feel sorry for them, rather than feeling annoyed by them, like Lucy was.

Reading this strip today makes me realize how much of my sense of humor derives from Peanuts. One of the first things I ever read by myself when I was six was a Fawcett Crest peanuts collection. This is a classic punchline, genius in fact. :o)
