I recall there was a game that Charlie Brown’s team won, but the victory was overturned on some technicality. Charlie Brown wanted to appeal to Judge Kenesaw Mountain Landis (Commissioner of Baseball, who died in 1944).

This is adding insult to injury.

He’s still the team manager – he let them know they could manage without him!

How did Charlie Brown’s team win the game without Charlie Brown’s help?

My guess would be Linus.

Kinda weird, considering that Charlie Brown is the best player they have (which actually isn’t saying much, but still) so maybe he’s just a bad luck charm or something. I mean, he IS Charlie Brown after all.

Charlie Brown was the starting pitcher. He gets the win; thge relief gets the save.

I think Linus pitched geez what’s wrong with Lucy!!!!..telling Charlie they won without him when he knows…I know he would never hit a girl but sometimes I wish he’d take the bat and hit her she’s obnoxious, eh!!!..wonder if tomorrow he goes to the hospital?!!!!..not trying to be a spoiler…Charlie looks like a pirate doesn’t he!!!!!
