In the early 20th century, premature babies and incubators were a popular tourist attraction at Coney Island, in Brooklyn, New York! Almost half of the native population in Yangsi Village, Sichuan, China, are dwarves! Alligator and crocodile blood can kill bacteria that is fatal to humans!

The doctor who invented the incubator was Arthur Couney. He began his work in Germany. He was unable to get funding from hospitals or universities so he took 10 babies for whom the diagnosis was grim – the doctors had concluded that they would all die – and he saved all ten of them. Then he went to the U.S. and could only fund his work by setting up the exhibit. It was reportedly the most popular exhibit on the boardwalk at times and there were always nurses to assist and wet nurses to feed the infants. He did this for 40 years and saved thousands of infants.
