The N64 doesn’t have separate R and L buttons, or two sticks

Video Games addiction. Better than… Drugs, Cigarettes, (Over-Eating) Food Addiction, Alcohol or Gambling, just to name a few.

Same here. We don’t own one…and we have kids!

Let’s see… I can get Drug Overdose and Die.
Cigarettes… I’ll probably get Cancer and Die.
Food Addiction means I’ll get FAT and must exercise like crazy to loss weight, worse-case maybe clogged Arteries and Die.
Do Alcohol, get drunk with some chance of getting belligerent, hurting people’s feelings, arrested, some embarrassing moments or bad decisions under the influence, worse-case maybe Kill or get Killed by somebody I offended and Die.
I will get broke real fast from Gambling and might go from Lying to Cheating/Stealing to borrowing from Loan Sharks and likely Die if I don’t pay the money back in time or fast enough.
From Video Games, I can practice and get better Hand-Eye Coordination, learn to Prioritize/Manage my Resources/Time and Stimulate my Brain to Problem-Solve, thereby making better (+Moral) decisions even in real-life and be… Happy. With the right (made) Video Games… it has helped the elderly (even teens) in some forms of Therapy/Recovery like Fighting Depression, Alzheimer/Dementia/Memory-lost, ADHD, Relief Stress, Regain Cognitive Abilities, even Educates or fights Obesity. (Read the internet.)
Now if anyone here wants to argue the old “Video Games make People Violent”… That has been debunked/disproved and is nothing more than a (weak) argument and scapegoat-tactic. Remember long-long ago BEFORE Video Games… People were already Violent, just read the History Books. Hitler, Genghis Khan, Al Capone, Jack-the-Ripper (just to name a few) killed a lot of people WITHOUT the influence of Video Games.
So… Yeah! Video Games WINS, I’m Happy, I learn stuff, I’m less Stressed and the Best part… I DON’T DIE!!

Wow that was really harsh Roger. I don’t even really get it. Is he that interested in making Jason appreciate sports the “traditonal way?”
