PLEEZE stop giving them ideas! Are there not already too many pawn shows, tow trucks, repo shows, swamper shows? Digging for treasure? Who the heck had the bright idea to stick a “U” in the middle of action and make it auction? Good grief, even the formerly reliable and dependable Weather Channel has gone to more show than weather. HELP!!!

As with so much else, the buzz words are slicker, faster, and fancier. Remember your name, people! Do folks tune in The Weather Channel to see fancy production shows? I doubt it. They are looking for the weather. Film the documentaries if you want to, but air them on Discovery, the History Channel, or PBS. Keep The Weather Channel for local, regional, and national weather 24/7/365, with some international tossed in. And try not to forget that there are 50 states these days, not 48.
