always wondered if teachers do after the last bell rings. do they sprint to their cars and speed away, or do they spend another hour to take care of paperwork? and, is their summer vacation really as long as the kids, or much shorter?
If it’s anything like where we live, you’ll see each other at the grocery store or something. My kids freaked out the first time that happened ("what?? Teachers have a life outside of school?? ;-))

My better half, who was a special ed teacher, got stuck with doing inventory, and catch up paper work.
