Here in Colorado, we don’t have the humidity, but we sure have had searing temps of late.

Do mustaches collect humidity in the summer the way they do frost in the winter?

My ’ol pappy used to recite this favorite January/June poem of his:

“There ain’t no pleasing people,on this ’ol earth below. In the sweltering days of summer time, they’re hollorin’ for the snow. And when the snow comes sifting, from the windows of the sky, they’re ranting for the summer time, with weather hot and dry.So when they leave this life,to seek their final lot, heaven’ll be too cool, and the other place too hot!"

@Kerovan “Similar summer temperatures but without humidity you are a LOT more comfortable.”

*Don’t I know it! Moved to CO from DE forty years ago last month, and I can still remember the feeling of getting off the plane and inhaling dry air! Same temps feel better without the moisture in both summer and winter. But then, we can’t grow things the way they grow in more watery climes. *Except mustaches. They grow great here.

I want it to be neither freezing nor roasting! Give me an equinox, please. But I definitely agree with the other commentators — Colorado summers can’t be beat!

I seriously doubt that Caulfield left because he was grossed out by a booger reference, and if you think that, you’ve been paying even less attention than I thought. Your parenthetical comment is another instance of your willingness to make something up and then rag the other person as if it was their idea in the first place.
