We had power like that too, until the utility company finally sent someone out to find out why. He discovered that a neighbor’s tree had a limb that was hanging a few inches above the power line. Whenever a strong wind or storm blew in the right direction, the limb would slap the line and snap it. A chainsaw fixed that in minutes.
