So are the bee stings. .There is a song, “The Best Things in Life are Free,” and when I was young it was played so often I got sick of it. Sort of like “The Sound of Music,” that people my age re-titled “The Sound of Mucous.” Just crabbing a little, here..@simpsonfan2: That’s a favorite joke of mine. Various characters have said it. It’s so old it has dust and cobwebs on it, and is probably scratched somewhere into the blocks on the Egyptian Pyramids!

Ah, Gracie Allen … I enjoyed the “Burns and Allen” shows as they appeared in reruns again all during last Christmas vacation. .Weird, but I dreamed she ran for U.S. President, and then next day I looked up her bio — and she did! In 1940, she ran on the Surprise Party and eventually got 42,000 votes..A frivolous thought: what if through some fluke she had been elected?
