I do not like A-Rod – never have, never will. That being said, I firmly believe that MLB connived to impose the draconian suspension at the behest of the New York Yankees, to enable them to get out of paying what A-Rod’s contract stipulated. This has nothing to do with PED’s. It has to do with the Yankees saving millions of dollars.
Good logic here. If it is available and they think they will get away with it, they will use it. How about “it is only illegal if you get caught”. Or “it is really a victimless crime”. Laws be damned, I am going to do whatever I think will get me ahead no matter who gets hurt in the process. I find it interesting that the investigations are ruining sports, not the people who are being investigated. Of course, nobody is responsible for their own actions anymore.
