I’m not sure who said it but it’s true..“Most kids today think that history started the day “they” were born"..

Two comments:#1— Knowing all we know today concerning medicine, etc.; it is impossible for any one born before WW2 to be alive today.
— Nobody born before WW2 knows what it is to do without.
