If I recall, that’s when Peppermint Patty shows up at the field and asks Linus, Schroeder and the others where can she find a fellow named Chuck Brown (“Chuck?” is their response).
And what she’ll find out is that you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink. They’re a hopeless bunch – except the the funny looking kid with the big nose.
I just thought that I would mention that Roy made his final appearance in Peanuts on the 27th of May, 1984, in a baseball-themed Sunday strip, in which you can also see Pig-Pen, Eudora and the original Patty.
@AmyGrantfan51774:Peppermint Patty may have worn a dress a time or two, but she clearly has a distaste for wearing them.
To any others who may think that Peppermint Patty is gay. It says more about you than any character if you keep pushing this idea. Schulz never defined his characters as being gay. You may wish to read your own stereotypes and biases into Schulz characters but realize that they are not supported by Schulz’s story lines. This is simply a comic. Leave political and activist agendas out of it. Go comment on an editoriaL cartoon instead.
Her worst moment was the Thanksgiving special. You do not invite yourself to somebody else’s house for a holiday dinner. And then invite two other people as well. And then throw a tantrum because the food isn’t what you wanted.Talk about etiquette challenged.
yea I remember when she asked is Chuck here and they went “Chuck????!!!!” Peppermint Patty was funny and Marcie called her Sir and she said don’t call me sir!!!!!!!!

I’m surprised Roy remembered his name when Linus didn’t, even if it was for a moment…
