Lemonade 15 Free dipping pool with every cup purchased Bad news, everyone. Plans to add an additional pool, one to jump into from the just completed rope swing, has been nixed by my parental units. Water slide free with two cup minimum
“Parental units” dates back to the mid-70s, courtesy of a show called, “Saturday Night Live,” which had skits about alien beings with cone-shaped heads (aka The Coneheads). In one skit, the daughter was on a date with Frank Zappa, who had to meet her “parental units” before going out.
This comic just has to be my second favorite one in the universe (the first one is “For Better or For Worse).” I “stumbled” upon it one day and have been hooked on it ever since. The relationship between Red and Rover at his age is the epitome of a boy and his dog, and I am enjoying it immensely.

That probably comes with watching and reading too much science fiction.

I like sci-fi but it is not all consuming. But at Red’s age I watched and read sci-fi practically to the exclusion of all else.
