To a dictator – “the people have spoken” does not compute

That’s right, every country should have the right to the dictator of their choice…until we decide they want another.

And I suppose what the Koch brothers, et. al., are doing is just for show?

Perhaps that new dictator is from the same ethnic group as the people, so that’s why he get’s a free pass.

Dude, 4 grammar mistake in a post 28 words long? If English really is your first language, and if you REALLY are an American, where did you go to school? The President, phony or not, is way better educated than you are.

@Lorenzo
Try “4 grammar mistakes.”
*
I spot only two actual mistakes in that post, and yet the writer is getting a lot of flak. As a long-time editor and proofer, I’d say two is not too bad. It’s devilishly difficult for even those of us who love grammar, spelling, and punctuation to get everything exactly right, especially on Web sites (yes, “Web sites” is correct!) that seem designed to make mistakes for you.

Just realized I wrote “long-time” instead of “longtime.” Now THAT’s a furreal mistake!

I’m with you, but doubt the trolls will even pay attention.

@ Lorenzo BrowncoatMy point, in both my posts above, is that it’s really hard even for very well-educated people to get every detail right all the time. Many comments here have typos, grammatical errors, misspellings, and poor punctuation. So what? And why pick on SeaFox? Was it really the errors (including the capital “C” on “Country”) that bothered his/her critics, or was it his/her political bias? I’m with Night-Gaunt on this: it’s the discussion that matters, not the technical skills. And if you’re wondering where someone is from, why not ask him? (Or her.) No insults needed.
*P.S. You might want to start your next post with a capital letter on that first word. Or, you might decide that that’s not the real issue, and that it would be a really nice gesture on Annie’s part if she would just let it go already! [:))]
