Sweating is good. The skin (and sweat) is the 3rd kidney. Detoxification is good. 95% of us will not die from a traumatic event (bad guy, car crash, lightning strike) but from slow decline, eg cardiovascular disease, or obesity leading to lack of balance, leading to a fall…. So? “We have met the enemy, and he is us.” ~~ Walt Kelly (creator of “Pogo”) … It’s our habits, our discipline (or lack thereoff) that shapes our life (and our death). I do saunas, yoga, long hikes, lift wgts, dance, and do a lot of massages (on others). Hey Vetran — bravo & kudos to you!
My Rotty called early this morning so excited he couldn’t even bark. I told him to take a few deep breaths, sip a glass of water and call me back.
When he was finally able to speak he pointed me in the direction of today’s C&C. We read it together, over and over.
He is incredibly honored that his little three word post from yesterday could inspire such great art, so much so that his emotions have the best of him right now and he is unable to communicate without embarrassing himself (don’t feel guilty about that – it happens ALL the time).
* I’m sure that nice Mr. nighthawks’ mother knows exactly how this feels.
Anyhowl, my Rotty asked me to express his deepest appreciation for what may well be the highest honor of his life, or at least second only to the perfect attendance trophy he received from the Betty Ford Center and Court-Ordered Boot Camp, or the participation ribbon from the vacation bible school sack race in 1959.
I’m sure he will tell you himself when he stops crying and practicing his acceptance speech for the Best Director Oscar at next year’s Academy Award show.
* Does anyone have Jennifer Lawrence’s telephone number? (he’ll need a date)

Except for the fact that he dropped the buckets. And by that not “protecting” what he was carrying.
