I’m only mildly surprised that Garfield would get in the pool. By the same token, he did go overboard with the pool toy in typical Garfield fashion. :)

When I was a youngster, I had a cat that swam, fished with me, (He caught more than I did which he immediately ate) and loved to splash in water.

That toy is the “Loch Ness” monster. At least that is the way I see those nose holes!

not all cats hate water. I heard Maine Coon cats actually play with water sometimes.

HIs love of being idle lazy overcomes his fear of water :)
