Perhaps they sold it to Alfred Yankovic?

Garfield’s probably hiding it. And when no one is around, he gets it out and plays it. Lol I wouldn’t be surprised. I’ve seen similarities in his and Jon’s personality in previous comic strips. Garfield might surprise you!

It’s gone missing before but always seems to find it’s way back.

Don’t tell me Jon may have figured out that Garfield and Liz have hidden it on him. Jon’s not bright enough to have figured that out.

What’s the difference between an accordion and an onion? No one cries when you cut an accordion in half…

According to wikipedia, Al is a distant relative of Frank, not totally unrelated. Besides, how many people have the last name of Yankovic and not be somewhat related? Good luck to Jon on getting his beloved squeezebox back. I have a brother-in-law who played the accordian when he was a kid. When he retired, he took it up again, after having it stored away in a closet. Now he has three of them. Oh well. I guess you need a hobby when you’re retired. lol

According to legend…one of the Lost Commandments is:

“Thou shalt not play the accordion”

Liz’s increased presence in the strip has been a real breath of fresh air. As I always say, the more involved the supporting characters are in Garfield, the happier I am.

    I could bring up Lyman again. But I won’t . . .

Poor timing, Jon had a date to tryout for the Myron Cohen Memorial dance down at the Legion Hall Ballroom over in Champagne.

If Garfield had anything to do with it missing then it is most likely flipping end over end though outer space on it way to Alpha Centauri.

According to Ambrose Birce, an accordion is a musical instrument in accordance with the sentiments of an assassin.
